En Route to MIPIM 2025: From Charity Rides to Key Panels
Our team – Chris Jones, Jamie Webb, Bruce Wright, Marion Baeli, and Richard Collings – are en route to Cannes for MIPIM, some in a more physically demanding (but scenic) way than others…
• Bruce Wright, Managing Principal, Americas, is on his bike, cycling to Cannes, with the Cycle To MIPIM Club Peloton team. By the time he arrives, he will have covered over 1,500 km, all in aid of raising money for Club Peloton’s charities – Coram, Cyclists Fighting Cancer, and Tom Ap Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust. There’s still time to support and donate.
• As AI expands creative capabilities and its ability to build design on multiple and varied data sources, what potential does this bring for cities? Jamie Webb, Managing Principal, EMEA, is joining the ULI Europe closed roundtable ‘AI in Cities: Blessing or Curse for Citizens’ on Wednesday.
• Marion Baeli, Principal of Sustainability Transformation, will chair a panel on ‘Mastering Net Zero: Advancing the Impact of the UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standards Through Collaborative Roundtables’. Happening on Tuesday at the Harbour Room – Gare Maritime, 11:00 local time.
• Chris Jones, Chairman, will take to the stage on Thursday for the ‘Leveraging Culture & Heritage to Drive Investment’ panel alongside Adriana Paice Kent, Woven Spaces; Kate Hart, Primera and representatives from Oman’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning. The talk will start at 14:00 local time at Stand C16.F – Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes.
